If you haven&#8217;t seen the official release from EA, here it is:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b>HOTFIX for BF2 v1.01 Now Available!<\/b><br \/>\nThe hotfix for Battlefield 2 v1.01 is now available for download. This<br \/>\nupdate replaces v1.01 and fixes the said memory leak. Along with this<br \/>\nupdate, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve made available an updated unranked server file for Win32<br \/>\nand an updated unranked server file for Linux.<\/p>\n<p><b>Battlefield 2 v1.02<\/b><br \/>\n<a href=\"ftp:\/\/largedownloads.ea.com\/pub\/patches\/bf2patch_v_102.exe\">bf2patch_v_102.exe<\/a> &#8211; (16.3MB)<br \/>(this replaces all previous updates)<\/p>\n<p><b>Battlefield 2 Unranked Server Files for Win32<\/b><br \/>\n<a href=\"ftp:\/\/largedownloads.ea.com\/pub\/misc\/battlefield2_server_2484.exe\">battlefield2_server_2484.exe<\/a> &#8211; (127MB)<br \/>(this replaces all previous Win32 server files)<\/p>\n<p><b>Battlefield 2 Unranked Server Files for Linux<\/b><br \/>\n<a href=\"ftp:\/\/largedownloads.ea.com\/pub\/misc\/bf2-linuxded-1.1.2484.0-installer.zip\">bf2-linuxded-1.1.2484.0-installer.zip<\/a> &#8211; (131MB)<br \/>(this replaces all previous Linux server files)<\/p>\n<p><b>NOTE: Upon installing v1.02 you<br \/>\nwill see references to v1.01.
